One Very Special Event & Catalina, cont.

Our Catalina trip is the highlight of our summer. Our friends are wonderful, the weather never fails us (no matter if its sunny or cloudy), the animal life always amazes us and we always get to experience the love we have for each other. The days are not overshadowed by what we have to take care of or where we have to go. No phones, no t.v.'s, no radios. Everything we do we enjoy. Who could ask for more?

We went for a little adventure and got out into the open ocean. That was a little scary.

A Joyous Baptism

Corey, Olivia, Brady, Jacob, Luke and Cameron all were baptized today.

Our family is very proud of Jacob"s and Brady's choices to follow Jesus. We, as parents, are so thankful!

Our lives are so blessed. We know that all that we are and all that we have is because the Lord has blessed us with it. It's hard to always live humbly and holy, that is why we need Jesus. We are so thankful to be forgiven.

Thanks for sharing your Catalina pics - that looks like SOO much fun. I can see why you look forward to it so much each year!
The baptism pictures brought tears to my eyes! (okay more than tears but didn't want to seem too sappy) We are so blessed, aren't we? With the Lord, our relationship with Him, and our family (immediate & extended) And you all are some of our BEST blessings...We love you (ALL)!!!

Leslie,

This is a wonderful post. Your vacation looks like my sort of deal... just family and some good times.

What a blessing it must be to have your children walking with the Lord. There truly is nothing better for a Mama's heart.

Your family is beautiful and I thank you for the opportunity to get to know you all a little here in blog world.
