Our, truly, happy place has always been Disneyland or the beach. This year we did not renew our passes to Disneyland. We have not been there since November 08, when this pic was taken. We all definitely miss it. Maybe soon?
An early in the morning field trip for my daughter's class. We walked to the nearby high school and saw the musical "Annie". Brady's friend, Samantha, is in the middle.
I love this kind of "time in the classroom" volunteering. It is a way to observe Brady among her friends. I get a good feel for how she feels about herself. I can see what kinds of kids she hangs out with at school (they could be different than the ones who come over to play). I also see how the othe kids are doing. It sort of gives you a "heads up" to what is next to come-like if they are starting to like boys/girls. She is our only girl and it's scary to think of her not being strong and smart when it comes to boys. I'm happy to say that we still have time to guide her. There are boys she thinks are cute, but she knows we dont want her to date until she is 35, so she is going to wait, for now!
This is an old family picture from a visit in Las Vegas. We do have a big family. May 2003
I need to have pictures that are current for this challenge. So, my goal for next week is to be in a new picture. One that is taken between today and next Thursday.

Great family moments you captured.
You have one very photogenic crew! It's like looking at the Kennedy's.
These are great. Lots of happy smiles! We are making a trip to Disneyland this summer. I don't think my boys have a clue about what it will be like there. I bet the musical was so much fun to watch!
Another great set of photos. I thought I was the only one that would not let my daughter date until 35! ;o) Hope it's okay to tag along as a follower.
These are great pictures!
I look forward to seeing your "CHALLENGE" photo each week. Love the Disney shot. We're in the process of finishing the details for our family reunion this year at...yep...
Disneyland. It will be a "first" for many.

P.S. I have been listening to your playlist for some time this morning. Thanks for that!
You are so photogenic...great smiles. Love the big family picture. Great shots.
Good luck on the 'Not till you're 35" thing! I told my son he couldn't date till he was 19, & he thought I was crazy, but before you know it I heard him using it as an excuse himself!!
Great pictures, and I hear you on the challenge of getting yourself in a new picture before next week. I almost didn't make it this week!
What a great looking family and what a cute friend your daughter has!
What cute pictures!! I love looking at all old and new!!!
Looks like so much fun! We've never been to Disney but we can't wait to go, hopefully planning to next year.
Great family pictures!!
hi leslie,
great pics! you are such a great mom to be so observant and always being "one step ahead". i think it's great that you're able to discern how your daughter is doing by observing her and her interactions with her friends.
you have a beautiful family!
