Cut & Color

Do you ever need a change? I did. I cut off 4 1/2 inches of hair and got rid of my highlights. I thought it was going to be such a big change, but barely anyone noticed. It looks healthier, but I guess I'm just a chicken to do something drastic. Oh well, healthy is good.

I Love School!

I have always loved the beginning of a new school year! Since the time I was in Kindergarten, I have loved going to school. I love the new pencils, backpacks, crayons, and new shoes, just to mention a few things that I always looked forward to getting in September. Now, even as just the teacher, I look forward to the new beginning. This has rubbed off onto my children, too. So, even though we thoroughly enjoy our summers, we love going back to school. Here's to a fantastic year!!!

Favorite Things Friday- Camping, AGAIN!!

Our last camping trip of the summer was to San Elijo, CA. What a way to end the summer! This was our first time going there. The weather was perfect (hot,like I like it to be in order to go in the water soooo much), the company was very enjoyable and the view from our campsite was extraordinary! We spent time with family and friends. We learned to surf and we spent lots of time in the water (temp. was 73*). We walked to a tide pool and walked all around Cardiff by the Sea. It was just so nice. Wish you could have been there!!

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday a week early since he and Grandma Tammy came out for two days of our trip (they came from Las Vegas and his birthday is Sept. 11th)
